What Arlo can do
Arlo answers questions about your investments. Every answer comes with the analysis behind it.
Explain your account. Ask "Where am I most concentrated?" Arlo walks through your holdings, allocation, performance history, concentration and risk exposure. It uses your real dub account data.
Get portfolio suggestions from dub Advisors. If you have completed your suitability profile, dub Advisors delivers ranked Premium portfolios on dub through Arlo. Each one is screened against your risk profile, and Arlo shows the reasoning behind it. More on how this works below.
Break down any portfolio on dub. Arlo explains what a portfolio holds, how it has behaved and how it compares to the market. It also shows the creator's track record, conviction rating and Alpha Score. These metrics help you understand a portfolio. A higher score does not mean better or safer returns.
Research stocks and market themes. Ask what is driving the market today, or about a sector, a theme or a single stock. Arlo explains it in context, as education. It does not make forecasts.
Turn an idea into a draft portfolio. Describe an idea, like rising power demand from AI. Arlo turns it into a draft list of stocks and weights. You can edit the draft and create the portfolio yourself. It is a research tool you control, not a recommendation.
Pick up where you left off. Past conversations stay in your chat history. A short daily recap on the Home tab summarizes your account since your last visit.
Arlo shows its work. Portfolio math runs on dub's own deterministic models, not on the language model. You can check the reasoning instead of taking it on faith.
How portfolio suggestions through Arlo work
Unlike most investing apps, dub Advisors is a registered investment adviser. So the suggestions you get through Arlo can be real advice. The suggestions come from dub Advisors. Arlo is how they reach you.
Complete your suitability profile. Suggestions require it. If Arlo cannot compute your risk profile, it will not make a suggestion.
Tell Arlo what you are investing for. For example: "Based on my profile and investing goals, can you help me find portfolios?"
Review the suggestions. dub Advisors delivers ranked Premium portfolios on dub, screened against your risk preference and loss limits. Arlo shows the reasoning for each one.
Decide, then act. If a portfolio fits, you continue in the normal dub review-and-copy flow. The usual agreements and checks apply.
Arlo will also tell you when nothing fits. It will not push you to add money or sell holdings to make room for a suggestion. Premium portfolios carry an asset-based management fee, which is disclosed on each portfolio. You can browse them on the dub Advisors offerings page.
What Arlo does not do
Knowing the limits matters as much as knowing the features.
It won't trade for you. Arlo reads your account. It does not invest, rebalance or move money.
It does not monitor your account. Arlo answers when you ask. It does not send alerts when markets move.
It does not pick individual stocks. Stock questions get research, not a buy or sell call. Suggestions are limited to portfolios on dub.
It does not predict. It gives no forecasts or price targets. Past behavior is explained as history.
It does not give tax, legal or financial-planning advice.
It only knows what you share with dub. Arlo uses the information in your dub account and the current conversation. It does not see your other accounts.
It can be wrong. AI-generated answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. That is one reason Arlo shows its work.
Our team is hard at work expanding Arlo's capabilities. We're excited for how Arlo will evolve in the near future!
